At Blenks Automotive & Performance, we’re passionate about nurturing the next generation of automotive professionals — and this month, our apprentice Tammara had an experience that truly fuelled that passion.
Tammara was invited to join the Penrite Racing Team at The Bend for an unforgettable weekend working behind the scenes at the V8 Supercars. From hands-on learning in a high-pressure environment to collaborating with some of the most respected names in the motorsport industry, it was an opportunity that delivered both inspiration and invaluable real-world experience.
Learning from the Best in the Business
Throughout the event, Tammara worked alongside the talented crew at Penrite Racing and Grove Racing, observing and assisting with the day-to-day operations of a professional Supercars team. From close-up vehicle preparation to race-day procedures, they gained a first-hand look at what it takes to perform at the elite level of Australian motorsport.
This kind of exposure is more than just exciting — it strengthens technical skills, builds confidence, and reinforces the passion that drives great automotive technicians.
A Weekend of Inspiration
